The replica IWC Ingenieur (French for “engineer”) was an innovative model that paved the way for practical, highly capable wristwatches. The shape and execution allows for a slightly more natural curvature around the wrist compared to a stiff center link of the case connecting to the bracelet, as was the case in the original SL.
